Ste Foy is an oft overlooked resort near Tignes, and despite having only 3 lifts has two huge advantages - a lift pass of only EUR14.50, and absolutely nobody around. I warmed up on the lower green slope a few times before heading on further up to the red and blue slopes. Sadly my snowboarding partner had got struck down with a gastro bug so I was on my tod all day. No mind though, the sun was glorious (a bit too hot really) and it was a great place to warm up for the coming weeks.
